Get Active Sundays is MetroActiv’s ongoing community initiative designed to inspire movement and build a culture of fitness at a hyperlocal level. 

Every Sunday is positioned as a moment of motion — a step towards getting active. Through this initiative, MetroActiv collaborates with credible, community-led fitness collectives across cities to host monthly activations that bring together movement, motivation, and meaningful brand experiences. 

From runs and workouts to in-store engagements, Get Active Sundays aims to create an inclusive fitness ecosystem that encourages people to stay active while fostering a strong sense of community. 

 

Past Highlights – Get Active Sundays 

March – Women’s Day Run (Powered by Puma) 

To celebrate Women’s Day, Get Active Sundays hosted a high-energy, three-city run across Indore, Dehradun, and Jodhpur. 

• ~400 participants across cities 
• 3 km community run 
• Post-run in-store engagement including product interactions, fitness activities, and refreshments 

The event brought together a strong community of women and fitness enthusiasts, combining movement with an immersive in-store experience. 

As part of the celebration, winners across each city were awarded the Puma Nitro running shoes — designed for responsive cushioning and high-performance energy return, making them ideal for both everyday runners and serious athletes.

April – Get Active Run (Powered by Skechers) 

Building on the momentum, April’s edition featured another large-scale, three-city run in collaboration with Skechers. 

• ~400+ participants across Indore, Dehradun, and Jodhpur 
• 3 km city run 
• Post-run activities including Zumba sessions, in-store fitness engagement, and refreshments 

This activation further strengthened MetroActiv’s growing fitness community while delivering an engaging, high-energy brand experience. 

Winners from each city were rewarded with the Skechers Aero Pulse — a lightweight performance shoe engineered for comfort, breathability, and responsive support during runs and training sessions.

Upcoming Events – Get Active Sundays 

The next edition of Get Active Sundays is set to bring an even bigger and more energised community experience in collaboration with Nike. 

Focused on pushing boundaries and encouraging individuals to be their best, these upcoming runs will combine a high-energy 3K run with engaging in-store fitness challenges and community interactions.
